Snorkeling at the Hulopoe Bay lets you witness firsthand some of the most vibrant native plant life and fish. It is the safest beach in Lanai where you can swim, but only in the summers. During the winters, you should definitely stop at this beach to catch a glimpse of humpback whales and dolphins.
Garden of Gods
Garden of Gods is an amazing and surreal sight. It for sure is a treat to the eyes. You might expect lush green plantation like you would find in any garden. Instead, Garden of Gods is a barren land that has nothing but sand and strangely shaped boulders and rock towers.
However, what makes the Garden of Gods so enchanting is the mesmerizing sunset. The settling sun spreads an orange glow on the rocks that causes them to illuminate with brilliant shades of purples and reds. The Garden of Gods is only accessible through a mountain bike or a four wheeler because of the rough terrain.
Manele Golf Course
There is a reason why Bill Gates decided to get married at the Manele Golf Course. This three-hole golf course is built on seaside cliffs just above the Hulopoe Bay. It boasts lush green plantation, seaside fairways, ocean cliffs and the occasional spotting of whales in winters. The view you will get from this spot is one that that will stay in your mind for a very long time.
Munro Trail
Munro Trail is a 12.8 miles path that gives you a chance to see all of the six islands of Hawaii at the same time, provided that the day is clear. The ocean views, forest and the canyon you get to see during the trail are all sights to marvel. Also, when you reach the top of the Munro trail, you will see the Lanaihale, which is the highest peak of Lanai known as the House of Lanai. It is located at a height of 3,370 feet.
