Highly recommend! We did doors off tour. Safety check in and tutorial by staff was professional. Our pilot was friendly, courteous, and made sure we were enjoying our flight. He also made sure to explain what we were seeing and positioned helicopter for excellent photo shots. Worth EVERY $$$. It's expensive to travel to Hawaii, so do yourself a favor and spend a little more to make your vaca memorable!

We took the doors-off helicopter tour over Kauai on February 5. Wow! What an adventure! Our pilot, Steve, took my wife and I for the ride of our lives! Like a real life Fantasia, every scenic site seemed to be followed by one even more spectacular! When I told my wife the price beforehand she was startled, afterward she agreed it was money well spent. We were pretty much speechless at the beauty of Kauai. Steve took us where no boat or plane (or hike) could go. Canyons that easily rival the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon and waterfalls- so many!!! The people in this company are very friendly and safety is a priority with them. It was thrilling but never felt scary!!! I’d definitely do this again!!

We had the best time with our “doors off” helicopter ride with Stuart. This really completed our Kauai trip! I was nervous about going in a helicopter but the moment I arrived, Ingrid & Kendra made me feel comfortable and Stuart was just an amazing pilot. We absolutely enjoyed this! This experience is a mandatory must do! One of the best experiences I've had period. Highly, highly recommend Ali'i Kauai Air Tours & Charters for your Helicopter Tour! We opted for the No Doors Tour! I felt like a bird in the sky. Some of the places on this island are difficult or impossible to get to, so this is the absolute best way to see Kauai in all it's Beauty. The staff and Pilot were very friendly and informative. We saved the helicopter flight over Hawaii for the last day, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. After comparing many providers, we chose “Ali’i Kauai Air Tours & Charters” because they offered the best value for money. What made the decision even easier was the option to book a private flight and decide for ourselves whether to fly with or without doors.

Upon arrival, we received a brief introduction to the flight and safety procedures, and shortly after, we were taken to the helicopter. The pilot was super friendly, and the flight over the island was truly unique and so much fun. In addition to the pilot’s stories, we enjoyed perfectly matched music through the headset.

While it’s not a cheap experience, it’s absolutely something you’ll remember for a lifetime. On Kauai, it’s almost a must-do! This island offers spectacular landscapes that are best enjoyed from the air.

We felt very comfortable with this provider and had a lot of fun throughout the experience.
